PHOTO Competition - WINNER Announced!

Added 25th Jan to Website News

Our latest Wildlife Photo Competition has been another huge success and the use of Flickr to host the images has worked very well.

Yet again we've had a wonderful time sifting through over 1000 entries and, as usual, it was very difficult to reduce this down to a chosen few. A big thank you to all who entered.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to congratulate each of the final eight photographers on capturing some truly wonderful images.

The short list has been live on the site for the past week attracting hundreds of votes. We've collated these and taken them into consideration as part of our judging process. We are pleased to announce that the winner of the December Wildlife Photo Competition is....

Colour Chaser with his photo titled 'High-key Swan'

This is a wonderful image so a big 'Well done!' from the Wildlife Whisperer team!

Simon King says "Beauty is in the eye! An innovative, strikingly composed image of a familiar subject. This photograph transcends illustration and glides gracefully into art. A powerful illustration that you don't have to struggle to find a subject, just have the ceativity and experimental mind to make the most of an opportunity".
