Lionscape Indus is an independent UK based company owned and run by husband and wife team, Pete & Lynn Cooper. The combination of long periods of time in the field observing tigers, and the familiarity of travelling throughout India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, has left us uniquely placed to offer you a wealth of fabulous wildlife encounters.
All of our tours are designed and run to give the maximum benefit to both wildlife and local communities, to encourage the long term protection of species in the wild. We believe that responsible tourism provides valuable protection by its presence, and that where a community benefits financially from its wildlife it is more likely to help protect it.
The secret of seeing wildlife is to spend the right amount of time in the right places with the right people. Our speciality is viewing tigers in the wild, and we have developed our expertise in this area through many years of personal experience in the field. We use this expertise to give our clients the best chance of being there at the right moment, and have been privileged to show hundreds of clients their 'first tiger'.
Pete spends around four months a year in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal and personally leads many of the tours to Bandhavgarh, considered to be the best place in the world for seeing tigers in the wild. His knowledge of the park and his rapport with the local people combine to make our Tiger, Tiger! tour the best of its kind.
All clients on our specialist tiger tours have seen tigers.
