From the Lee Valley Bats website 'We are a charity registered with the Inland Revenue. Lee Valley Bats is an entirely voluntary not-for-profit group and we have no paid staff - just eager wildlife enthusiasts.
Fundraising is through our activities, for example, our information gazebo, attending fairs, exhibitions, leading workshops and running bat walks. Training and other activities are free, as is membership, (members receive our quarterly e-Newsletter ECHO).
We charge nothing, but hugely welcome donations.
